Rivera Tennis Academy has announced its Tennis Mixer Pro-Am tournament scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Forest Oaks Swim & Racquet Club in Spring, Texas. The six-hour event will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and feature competitive match play with academy coaches participating alongside registered players.
The Tennis Academy in Spring TX structured the tournament to include three rounds of play, with each round consisting of 10 games. Participants will have the opportunity to compete directly with professional coaches from the academy’s staff throughout the day-long event. The tournament format accommodates both individual players and teams of three.
“The November 29 Pro-Am represents our largest mixer event of the year, providing players with direct access to professional-level coaching during competitive match play,” said Alfredo Rivera, Director of Rivera Tennis Academy. “This format allows participants to gain immediate feedback and technical insights while engaged in actual tournament competition.”
Registration for the Tennnis Mixer Pro AM in Spring TX is available at two price points: $65 for individual entry and $180 for team registration of three players. The registration fee includes lunch for all participants. The academy has indicated that tournament spots are limited.
The Pro-Am tournament represents part of Rivera Tennis Academy’s broader programming calendar, which includes UTR Tennis circuits, tournaments, and various skill-level programs throughout the year. The academy offers junior tennis lessons, kids tennis lessons, adult tennis lessons, private tennis lessons, elite tennis lessons, and homeschool tennis lessons at its Spring, Texas facility.
The November event follows the academy’s established tournament format, which combines competitive play with educational components. Players participating in the Pro-Am will receive coaching insights during match play, differentiating this event from standard tournament formats.
The academy operates at the Forest Oaks Swim & Racquet Club, providing access to multiple courts for tournament play and regular programming. The facility serves the Spring, Texas community and surrounding areas.
Beyond tournaments, the academy maintains year-round programming including leagues and training sessions for various age groups and skill levels. The facility also houses a pro shop carrying Babolat products and offers stringing services for players.
Rivera Tennis Academy was founded by Alfredo Rivera, who competed as an ATP tour player and represented Chile in Davis Cup competition. The academy has developed its programming to serve both competitive and recreational players in the Spring, Texas area. The November 29 Pro-Am tournament continues the academy’s approach of combining professional coaching expertise with community tennis events.
